Configuring Outlook E-mail Client
|
To configure your Outlook or any other e-mail client, you need to know your POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3) and SMTP (Simple Message Transfer Protocol) servers. These are common terms and most e-mail clients refer to and require "incoming" and "outgoing" e-mail server information. In the control panel, you can see what the mail servers are called. The default of our system will put your domain name as both servers and you can normally use "mail.yourdomainname.com" as incoming and outgoing mail servers. However, please confirm in your control panel. The e-mail client will require this information. This is where your system will go to send and retrieve e-mail. Log into your control panel; - Configuring Outlook (POP before SMTP relay) STANDARD. |
